water, that sounds good foxes hate water right. Keep it together Neil. Focus your going to wake up eventually. In the mean time, just don't die." you talk out loud trying to keep yourself calm.
"where did that demon scurry off to. When I find him I'll skin him alive." Deluma was no longer acting cool and collected. Her hair stood on end. As she stormed through the street. Passersby leaping and ducking out loud the way of her storming tales.
"pardon me ma’am. I was under the impression we needed him alive." Luna tried to reason while ducking and dodging Delumas tails.
"Oh he'll survive. The only question is how many pieces he'll be in." she looked crazed as she ranted on.
you sit tight on top of your building watching them as they ran right under you never thinking to look up. Determining you are momentarily safe you begin to plan. A few quick calculations and you determine you can't make it over using your make shift grappling hook. Not without dislocating or breaking something. You tie one end of the rope high on one of the telephone poles. Using empty piping and powder from the fireworks u quickly fashion a grappling launcher. you step back admiring your work.
"it's crude. Not pretty, but it will get the job done." you light the fuse, and dive behind the AC unit. A large bang echoed through the city. Looking over you see a burning ring of fire on the ground from the explosion but your line hung secure. You give it a good tug to see if it will support your weight before using your belt to slide over to the next building.
Delumas ears perked up hearing the thunderous boom reverberating through the town. She smiled.
"He's desperate to try that one. Call in the specialized tracking unit. The kid gloves are off. I do not want to let this one escape." he! r phone rang barely once be for she roped it from the holster in her belt. "This is Deluma. ..... Are u certain. If your wrong about this you'll wish I killed you." the phone slammed shut. "Looks like I'm leaving this one's capture in your hands Luna. Do not disappoint me."
"Of course madam Deluma. The blood hound has already been called. consider him ours." Luna saluted as Deluma leaped of. With her presence gone Luna relaxed considerably. "we have a 10-20 I'm on the corner of Main and Houser. I need the bloodhounds search and recovery squad."
"Affirmative commander Luna. They have been dispatched and are in rout."
meanwhile you are hiding in the alleyways watching the traffic roll by. Patiently waiting for your opportunity. eventually you see one. a large delivery truck comes by. when it stops at the light you roll underneath it. Hanging on for dear life. allowing tic to take you to the beach near the cove. as you approach the beach you realize that you may have made the wrong call. Anthros littered the beach a group of reptiles laid out to the east soaking up the suns warmth. while on the other side. Anthros of all kinds played volleyball. A group of dogs played Frisbee. you sat behind the sign wondering how on earth you where going to make it to the water unnoticed. You decide to sneak past the reptiles as they are mostly asleep, or you hop at least to lazy to care about you. quickly u run past pilfering some snorkeling gear you find laying buy a lizard who was fast asleep.
"ya snooze ya loose." he shifted as you spoke causing you to make a mad dash for the water. where you proceeded to outfit yourself with the snorkeling gear. You swim along admiring the reef and all the beauty it provided. your arms and legs burn as the grotto was much farther off than you had though but eventual you make it. swimming up you notice two Anthros sitting in the cave talking one was a rabbit. She had long and curly blond hair tan fur with brown spots and streaks scarcely adorning it. her eyes where blue you cant make out the other Anthro. you stay hidden behind some rocks. you cant help but to think this one might not seem so bad.
