Samuel knew this was gonna have an interesting outcome. If everything went truly terrible for some reason. All he needed to do was pull out a Dragonstones and away he'd go.
Samuel made sure to keep his ears under his hood, not to draw attention. The two walked through when Samuel heard a noise. He stopped walking and looked around to see a girl with pink hair. "Psst. You two."
Samuel double-checked both ways as Greg and Samuel walked closer to the girl, urging them into the alley. "Who are you?"
She wore a dark brown Dark Mage uniform and held a time under her arm. "Listen, I just need to test my new tome out."
"New tome?" Greg questioned. "What does it do?"
"That's the thing. I don't know, I was hoping you would let me try. If anything goes wrong, I could fix it...possibly." The girl said.
Samuel and Greg exchanged glances as Samuel shrugged and Greg nodded. "Alright. Go ahead."
The girl smiled and nodded, then opened her tome as she flipped through the pages and hit the two with some sort of beam. The two felt it hit, but that was all. "So...feel different?" She asked.
Samuel shook his head. "Not in the slightest."
"...Maybe I cast it wrong. Alright, sorry for wasting your time." She apologized.
The two nodded and left. Something bit at Samuel though. "I have a bad feeling..." He murmured to himself.
