Greg continues the fight

Greg was ready to attack them when he heard a bloodcurdling scream from behind him. He turned around to see a large lance, the Legendary Gae Bolg, get ripped out of the healer's flesh. Standing above him on a massive black, demonic-looking horse was a man in black and red armor. Greg remembered hearing stories of a man named Walhart the Conqueror, but after seeing this man, he already seemed tougher. Greg held Zenith, angered. "Why's you kill him?! He was unarmed!" Greg yelled at the figure.

The figure merely turned and faced him before saying, "Exactly. Therefore, he was useless. Those on the field of battle who are wounded or cannot fight are useless. They must be dispatched of." The figure said plainly, with some delight of his recent kill in his voice.

Greg rushed toward him, Zenith raised. "I'm gonna kill you, you soulless bastard!" Greg yelled as he swing Zenith. The figure held the lance up as he blocked each attack with ease as his horse jumped away.

"Fall to the wayside!" The figure screamed as it charged at Greg.

Greg planned his attack and how he was holding his lance. He knew he could counter it.

That was until the arrow pierced his back.

Greg felt the sharp pain shoot into his back as he lost his form. Just as he did, he received a sharp slash across the chest from the Gae Bolg. He flew across the field and landed a distance away. That's when he heard his back shatter. He couldn't move, his body crippled. He heard the hooves of the man's horse galloping closer. Greg readied for death when...it jumped over him. The man seemed preoccupied with the larger battle below. Greg wanted to help, but he was too busy fainting.

Greg awoke, laying in the same place as before but with more bodies piled around him. He still couldn't move with his broken spine. He laid as smoke and death filled his nostrils. He thought that this would be it. He would die from this wound. Then he noticed the sun glistening something by his hand on the ground. With what strength he had, he grabbed it and saw it was a...
