Deymona laughs meanly and turns to look at her friend with a nasty come back in mind. Her laughter dies off when she notices a red mark glowing and blinking on Mordora's forehead.
"What the flip, Mordora!? You got some new disease or something?" she asks in a half-assed attempt to hide her shock and worry. Mordora looks up into her friends shadowed face with what seemed to be tears in her eyes.
"It's my parents," she whispers, lips trembling.
Deymona knew little about Mordora's past, only that she was some alien princess. But she had never seen her usually cocky friend scared before. Not of anything.
