There once lived an interesting
Royal Family of sorts in a land and
kingdom many consider a clone hybrid
of England, America if they did the whole
royalty thing and that place called Genovia
from that one movie.
The country was called simply
The Kingdom Of Lydell so named for
it’s Royal Capital which ironically was
named after a once famous author.
This kingdom had more than a few
unique things. The country while very
large and very modern stayed neutral
in many world affairs and was quite rich
as well as quite gifted in diplomacy.
The kingdom and Royal hierarchy wasn’t
your run of the mill storybook kingdom
either. This kingdom allowed polygamy
but it was mostly encouraged by the
wealthy and the Royal Family.
The Royal City of Lydell consisted of
the Royal Palace which after many
expansions claimed the titles of
“worlds largest palace” and
“worlds largest castle”
Next to the castle in walkable distance
so the Royal Family could more easily
conduct business with their
various ministers, and government officials
was their combination
“Defense Aliance and Royal Consolate”
It was modeled after the Pentagon in
the US only with a large pair of
World Trade Center-esque towers on
each side and essentially served a
combined similar function of many
countries defense HQ and a place for
foreign dignitaries and diplomats.
On the other side of the palace castle
was a clone of The White House but
with an attached supreme courts clone
and Capitol Building clone it housed
most of the countries highest courts
and various governments.
Positions in the government and courts
were split 50/50 between lesser
non-main Royal Family members
if they were qualified and elected
officials in a fashion similar to the US.
Currently the main Royal Family
consisted of
• King Edward a king in his early 50s
• Queen Elizabeth the 1st Queen
in her 50s as well and Edward’s original
betrothed.
• Queen Rebecca the 2nd queen in
her late 20s Edward’s 2nd wife she
can assist in queen duties and
Co-Rule with the others. Should the 1st
queen become incapacitated or incapable
all queen powers shift to her temporarily.
Only the King, and both queens family
are eligible for Royal Family status
with various terms and conditions.
• Edward’s 3rd wife whom isn’t viewed
as royal but has some powers
Kathleen in her 20s as well.
Children between her and Edward can
qualify for Royal Family statuses.
All share the same father but not necessarily
the same mother however they still are
raised like and treat one another as
normal siblings save of course
nicknames and unique childhoods of
having 3 moms.
They’re still a very closely knit family.
The children are mostly proper, well
behaved and good kids however not
without flaws or some personality
problems but that’s for another time.
