... Cat girls.
The most obvious sign is the small piles of fur scattered throughout the area, another is the scratches against the trees, indicating that something had been using them as a scratching post. As you get closer to the cave, you start to slow down, doing your best to remain hidden. You carefully sneak into the entrance and slowly follow the walls of the cave. After a minute of sneaking, you freeze as you hear a purr from deeper in the cave. You quickly move to a small outcropping in the cave wall, before craning your neck around the corner. Further down in the cave, as the cave opens up, you see five catgirls sleeping together on a large bedding of straw. Most of them look fairly small, probably only being kittens. In the middle of the group though, is a much larger cat girl with a large, squirming gut.
"That must be the reason for the killer cave," you think to yourself, "That cat girl must be eating the townsfolk to feed her kittens."
You hate to think about taking out a family of cat girls, but you can't just leave them alone and let them eat the town. Suddenly, you hear a noise from the pile, so you press yourself deeper into your hiding place. After a moment, you peek around the corner to see the largest cat girl standing up, their large stomach swaying side to side. You see her stretch her limbs before she lets her hands rest on her belly. You see her begin to sniff in the air, and after a moment, she turns towards you. You dip back into your hiding spot as you hear her footsteps getting closer.
"Did a little mousey wander into my house while I was sleeping?" The cat girl said in a taunting voice, "I sure hope so, 'cause mama needs all the food she can get for her little kitties."
Your breathing starts to become erratic as you hear her get closer. You try to steady yourself, placing your hands against the cool cave wall. After a moment, you ready yourself for when she walks around the corner, preparing a paralyzation spell. The first thing you spot is her bloated stomach, which peaks around the corner for a moment before she follows. As she turns to face you, you see her licking her lips in anticipation, but you quickly shoot off your spell with it hitting her dead center in her belly.
The cat girl freeze's in place, the spell stopping her movements completely. You jump at her, hoping you can pin her down and swallow her before the spell wears off.
