Manic the hedgehog, Sonics little brother and definetly one of the coolest characters in the franchise. As he came closer to you, the shockwaves of his feet touching the ground get louder. Even the power increased, sending your whole body flying into the air a bit more with each gigantic footstep he took. He didn't even notice you yet he gave you a pretty massive first impression. His walking went on until he came to an halt right infront of Tails and sending your entire body into the air and causing you to fall onto your back. The colossal green hedgehog was now looking down at Tails with a big smile on his face. Manic was two heads taller than Tails and much more intimidating. The shockwaves he caused a few seconds ago were intimidating enough but just looking at the giant hedgehog from upclose especially from your tiny point of view was extremly thrilling.
"What's up Tails? Still working on that experiment?" Manic asked with his thundering voice.
"Yeah, he was just about to pick his experimenter" Tails replied while pointing at you. Manic looked right at you with a curious look on his face. Your fear grew as the titanic hedgehog was casting a large shadow over you and giving his full attention. Suddenly he picked you up with two gloved finger and brought you closer to his face. His eyes scanned your body while you remained frozen due to fear.
"There's no reason to be afraid lil dude, I'm a not gonna crush ya like those evil giants" Manic said in a rather mocking tone. He most likely noticed your fear and tried to calm you down, even though his current action was contributing towards your anxiety.
"Tell ya what, how about we go for a lil walk? Might helps to thaw off your body, hmm?" Manic offered calmly with a grin on his face. You slowly nodded your head to accept his offer since your mouth was still stunned.
"Man you really are a scaredy cat. But don't ya worry, your buddy Manic has the best cure for that." Manic said as he dangled you in the air a little. He was really trying to help you but his mocking tone suggested that he was actually enjoying this.
"Manic you can't take him for a walk, he hasn't picked his experimenter yet" Tails stated.
"Didn't ya see him nodding his head? He accepted my offer, so that makes me the experimenter, right?" Manic replied in a persuading manner. It seems like the giant hedgehog outsmarted Tails by leading you into his trap. You would like to explain that you didn't want Manic as your experimenter but you were too scared of him as you hanged down between his large fingers. Tails was your only hope right now, he had to stand up to the green giant and get you out of this.
"Unless you want me to unshrink the lil dude..." Manic said sarcasticly as he looked down into Tails eyes. So he was the one who shrinked you down to this size. It was weird to see Tails being tricked so easily by someone, then again Tails was younger and more naive. So obviously Manic wouldn't struggle to put him into his place when he wanted to. He really wanted to be the experimenter so badly, going so far to threaten Tails to unshrink you and making this experiment impossible to do.
"No no okay okay fine you can do it Manic but please be gentle to him." Tails bursted out quickly with disappointment as he left the room. Manic looked back at you with a victorious smirk on his face, putting Tails into his place would probably be the second best thing that the green hedgehog would do today. However, the giant hedgehog was finally satisfied to be in charge of you, the excitement was easy to see in his face. You on the other hand still felt unsure about this with the remaining fear in your body.
"What's wrong bug? Scared? Heh heh" Manic intimidated with a mischief tone. You came to the realisation that Manic had nothing good on his mind for you.
