Meet Chip

You arrive by the sound of gulls in the beach continent of Adabat, and first you realize the problem, the Adabat temple is gone, Chip already defeated Dark Gaia. You mope about for hours when you see Chip playing in the water, dipping his foot into it, seemingly acting scared of it, then running back and forth against the waves, when he spots you and falls right on his butt, flips over on all fours and begins to stand up by running away. He looks so cute doing that.
"Wait Chip, please stop."
To your surprise, he's hidden behind a rock so you just pick him up and cuddle from behind. He eventually calms down.
