Daniel Sandow was desperate. He was an actor, but he wasn't considered much of a celebrity. He was in plenty of movies, but he couldn't get anything more than a minor role. He was called upon by many casting directors, but never for any reason other to be that guy. That guy who was just, well, a guy. An average looking middle-aged man. All he ever did was stay in the background and look as insignificant as possible.
Needless to say, he was a little tired of this. However, his hopes were brightened when he heard some exciting news from the studio. To put it simply, the studio had commisioned these pills that could only be described as "magic". Apparently, a simple gulp of one could turn any actor into the perfect actor for a certain role. Nobody was quite sure how they worked, but they knew for sure they did. And Daniel wanted it more than anything.
He wanted one so badly, in fact, that he actually stole one. He wasn't sure how he got past security and got one of the thousand dollar miracle pills from the director's desk, but he did. So, there he was with the key to his success: a tiny pink pill.
Now, Daniel honestly had no idea what role the pill had in store for him or even what movie it was for. Finn Martins directed almost everything, from heavy war dramas to children's comedy. He honestly repected the director's abilities despite never getting a real part in any of his movies. Still, the fact stood that he had no idea what this pill would do to him. All he knew was that this had to be a major role, or else they wouldn't have made a pill for it.
"Oh well," he said to himself. "It's this are obscurity. After twenty eight years in Hollywood, I'm finally a real role, no matter."
So, in the movie studio's bathroom, Daniel Sandow swallowed the pink pill and sealed his fate. Whatever was going to happen, it had to be better than just being Customer #4.
