The cafeteria was packed when Bart finally made it inside. Lunch lady Doris slapped a helping of dried up meatloaf onto his plate and moved him along.
"Get your delicious, nutritious meat loaf." She said dryly, as the students moved along like a conveyor belt.
"Man, this blows." Bart huffed as he took the tray to the only empty table in the whole place. He sat down with Milhouse and Nelson.
"HAHA!" Nelson laughed as Bart sat down. "You're eating a poor person lunch."
Bart looked him at and down.
"You don't even have a lunch."
"Well at least I don't have a poor person lunch." He laughed again.
"Shut up, Nelson." Bart scowled across the table. Nelson responded by knocking over Bart's drink which poured over the edge of the table and into his lap.
Bart stood up as quickly as he could, but he damage had already been done. His shorts were soaking wet through.
"HAHA!" Nelson laughed even harder, pointing at Bart's soggy crotch. "Bart peed his pants!"
The whole cafeteria looked around and went silent. Every eye of every student in the school was looking at the wet patch on his shorts, before bursting out into laughter.
"No I didn't!" Bart yelled, trying to pull his t-shirt over the wet patch on his pants. But nobody could hear him over the laughter that had erupted in the hall.
Mrs. Krabappel went over to him to comfort him, the look on her face was solemn.
"Come on, Bart." She said quietly to him, "let's get you to the nurses office."
Bart protests on the way to the office, but his pleas go unheeded. As far as everyone is concerned, Bart just wet his pants in front of the whole school.
"Drat." Edna says. "The damn nurse is out on a lunch break."
"Well Bart," she sighs. "There's only one thing for it..."
