You reach the park late and you see that only Pat is there.
"The others must have left," you say quietly to yourself. You put your hand into your pocket and bring out the piece of clay from earlier. Quickly you decide to duck behind some bushes as it starts to grow warm in your palm. You look down at it curiously and fish the gem out of your pocket, along with a piece of paper you didn't notice was there before. Written on the paper is a small set of instructions:
'Gem‑ hold it and concentrate on what you want
Clay‑ eat some and (again) concentrate on what you want (don't worry, its non-toxic).
It'll grow back right after you rip some off.
PS. You should really ask people how to use these things before you take them...'
You feel slightly embarrassed that you forgot such a simple thing, and also slightly freaked out about how the note got there in the first place. No matter now though ‑ you know how to use them now so it’s just a question of which one (first!)
