Blake sat at his desk, his head facing upwards to the ceiling. His desk was a mess with crumbled up paper all over it. It was all the result of attempted brainstorming of ideas for his next novel, but, it was all wasted as he couldn’t come up with anything solid. This is how it has gone for the past week or so, get some paper, try to come up with ideas for his next novel, only to have all of his ideas end in creative dead ends, repeat the next day. This wouldn’t be so bad if his publisher wasn’t nagging him near daily to get a story done asap. He understood why they were doing this, he had made them a lot of money with his popular series of books, but, now that the series was over, they want him to make a new series of books to keep the money flowing. While he understood this, it didn’t make it less stressful for him, making it even harder to get over his writers block. He proceeded to pick up the pieces of paper and put them in his trash bin. “I will have to pick this up tomorrow, I’m exhausted” Blake said to himself. He got up out of his chair, stretching out his limbs. Just as he was about to leave the room, he spotted something shiny in his trash bin. He reached in a pulls out a coin, observing it, Blake noticed that both sides had a pregnant man and woman on it. One side that looked happy, the other they looked frightened “what a strange coin” he thought to himself as he walked to his bedroom, “I wonder how it got in there”. He undresses and gets into his pajamas, putting the coin on his nightstand next to the mattress. Just as he was about to get into bed, he hears a voice in his head. It sounds like a came from the coin, “flip me Blake” the coin said to him, for whatever reason Blake felt calm. What does he do?
