The coin showed the side with the happy pregnant man and woman

Heads! Reality Change! the strange voice echoed in her head.

How odd, she thought idly.

"Hey, nice catch, Nicky," Betty's voice snapped her out of the daze she was in. "So, your birthday is in nine days, what do you want to do?"

Nicole was about to answer, but then the chill she felt turned into warmth, which spread through her entire body.
