While the all options are good you know that Pizza has the best long term quality. You also know that having take out is such a rarity in this house you need to pounce on it. Also cold pizza for breakfast as you're on the way out or reheated for lunch, still good.
It takes a good fifteen minutes or so for Phil to finish his shower but when he does he comes down wearing one of those three white shirts that come in a package for ten bucks and a pair of black cotton shorts. Both of which seem new. You've never known Phil to own generic white t-shirts before, sure white undershirts and white dress shirts for work and never anything basic like black cotton shorts.
"New clothes?" you ask.
"Yeah, something a little more comfortable," Phil says," What did you decide on?"
"Some pizza would be great," you answer.
"Any preferences?" Phil asks.
"A meat lovers or a barbeque chicken are always a good choice," you suggest.
"Not bad choices," Phil agrees and whips out his cell phone and begins to book the order," Might take half an hour."
"Alright, call me when it's here," you say and head back upstairs to your room to continue the game.
About 30 minutes pass and you hear Phil call your name.
"Alright, down in a minute," you answer and save your game. You head to the bathroom and wash your hands and make your way downstairs and surprisingly find Phil in the living room and not the kitchen. As you get into the living room you see that not only did Phil order the pizza you suggested but three other boxes too. Not only that, he's also sitting on his Laz-E Boy recliner with a beer and a plateful of pizza. You don't think you've ever seen him eat more than two slices at a time, let alone the five or six he has stacked on his plate.
"Hurry up, food's getting cold," Phil says as he takes a bite of a slice.
You nod and take a seat on the couch and notice that Phil has put on some Dad-core movie from the 90's on. Some old action film with actors you know as old men these days.
You grab a plate and load up two slices and begin to eat.
"Oh, yeah. I also got you a pop," Phil says pointing at the bottle of cola sitting on the table.
Phil pretty much never buys pop, another weird sign.
"Thanks," you smile and grab the pop and open it and take a sip.
"No problem," Phil says and continues to munch away.
The rest of the meal.is pretty quiet, Phil suppresses a few burps here and there and you notice that he doesn't have a napkin and uses his shirt. He would yell at you if you ever did that. He also refills his plate with several more slices as well.
You cap out at four slices but you swear Phil is on his tenth.
After his pizza is consumed he slowly raises to his feet and see his belly juts out a bit. Phil has never had abs not had he gone full Dad-bod but he was looking a lot fuller than ever before. You feel yourself twitch in your underwear seeing your full step father. Phil gathers up the remaining pizza boxes and heads into the kitchen. He's gone for a few minutes and you hear his unleash a loud burp. You're now getting close to full mass.
"Excuse me," Phil says from the kitchen and you hear him open another beer.
Phil returns to the living room and places a hand on his bloated belly and smiles.
If you stay here you're going to explode. You thank Phil for the pizza and head back upstairs.
