You knew that Miss Fraser would be angry before you even set foot into school. You're running down the hallways, turning this way and that knowing that the bell would ring and you would be late...again. You chug the last of your energy drink and toss it into the nearest trash bin just before the bell rings overhead. You groan aloud and your head falls in defeat. Slowly and begrudgingly you walk into class. All of your classmates, already in their seats, snicker and ooooh knowing Miss Fraser would scald you any second now.
"Daniel! This will be the fourth time this week that you've been late to my class. Another tardy and another detention, I think? I swear, my four year old can tell the time better than you can." Miss Fraser scalds you, rising from behind her desk to close the classroom door.
"Yes, Miss Fraser.." you reply meekly, sliding into your seat and growing redder in the face.
The lesson continues with Miss Fraser turning out the lights and using the overhead projector to teach about the topic of the day. You slowly realize that you have to use the bathroom. Perhaps chugging that energy drink just before class did more harm than good. You wonder if it's worth it to interrupt Miss Fraser to ask to use the bathroom...
