She walks straight up to you with confidence, "Hey there, you are John right? I think I've seen you around!" Out of the corner of your eye you then see Jimmy leave the restroom and start walking towards you. "Yeah I'm John!" acknowledging her. He comes up to the two of you and says "Hey!" startling her. "Oh my gosh! Do not do that!" she exclaimed, as she whipped around suddenly to glare at Jimmy., before taking a deep breath. "Sorry for yelling. I'm just a little jumpy today." she apologized to Jimmy. Turning back to face you, she took another breath and continued "Anyway, I was just wondering and its a little embarrassing but I just got this weird feeling when I saw you. I just knew I had to talk to you once I was done shopping." she said, blushing briefly. "If you want to hang out, I'm free for a bit. As long as your friend here, does not cause me to jump again." she joked. "Sure." you said. With that, the three of you walked through the mall together.
"I'm Laura. Laura Miller" She began. " I may have remembered you, but I did not really check if you knew me, so what are you doing here?" she asked you. "Mostly looking for a gift for his girlfriend" You responded, pointing towards Jimmy. "Oh! Do you know what she wants?" Laura asked Jimmy, noticing him looking around everywhere. "Maybe but he's a bit... unfocused today, so ." You answered. "Well maybe I could help! I don't know much about his girlfriend, but I can give a girl's perspective on things!" offered Laura. "Yeah okay!" Jimmy said, turning his head toward her, with an awkward sort of smile. "Well I know when I don't want anything in particular I'm usually happy with getting flowers, some new music to listen to, and Ooh! I love going and getting suggestions for new clothes. It lets me know what my friends think of me, whether its the type of clothes they give me, to stuff with no designs on it, or if I get clashing or complementary colors."
"Uhhh, well all of those sound like good suggestions! Thanks!" Jimmy said nervously. "Let's go get some clothes for her!" Jimmy said to you. Walking for quite a bit, the three of you end up two stores before the one you were looking at going to, where you see Jimmy getting ready to possess Laura again. You stop him, as Laura continued to go forward a bit before realizing you two had stopped. "You already had your fun with her! Besides she wants to help us!" "Yeah she does, and we'd avoid awkward conversations with her if I was in her brain!" "Yeah well how do you know she would even say anything awkward? Why don't I take her then, we should take turns with the powers." "Fine!" Jimmy said, as Laura came over. "John here, has to go to the bathroom. I was asking him how come he didn't go when I did, but I guess its fine." Jimmy said. making up an excuse on the fly. "Fine, I'll just wait here then." Laura said, leaning with her back against the wall a few steps away from the entrance to the restrooms.
Jimmy puts the powers back into the scroll, reading the words on the back. Once the scroll glows, you wait a moment before taking and flipping the scroll around. When you recite the words you feel a slight windy sensation, along with a warmth emanating from the scroll. "Alright when you are ready I'll be out there." Jimmy starts heading out of the restroom. You go and follow behind him, a little slower, and as Jimmy exits he starts talking to Laura. "He'll just be another minute." Laura looked up at Jimmy and nodded as she looked back down. Jimmy stared at Laura, he saw her gasp, her blue eyes blink rapidly and once they stopped she spoke "Well that was something, now let's go!" As the two went towards the shop.
