Kelsey only had a towel gripped in her hand. She hadn’t grabbed her pants or skirt. She hadn’t been thinking.
Forgetting even why she was out there, Kelsey turned and tried at the door. It was of course unable to be opened from the outside.
Kelsey looked around; to make sure she was still alone. She could hear people talking from around the corners, but still no signs of anyone.
She did of course the first logical thing she could do at that point, and that was to wrap the towel around her.
Once secured, the towel covered most of her body. It hid everything from the top of her chest down to about mid thigh.
Kelsey then finally looked up at the building. She didn’t see any smoke. If there was a real fire, it definitely wasn’t anything to lock herself outside in just her underwear and towel over!
Kelsey was worried. She did not want anybody to see her in her underwear. Even with the towel to hide herself, she’d imagine things would be pretty embarrassing.
Kelsey figured if it was a false alarm or a fire drill, she’d be able to wait for everyone to go inside, and maybe sneak in. So she waited and waited. She stayed in the small alcove and soon heard the sounds of teachers calling the students back inside. It really was just a drill!
Kelsey slowly walked out towards the walls and away from the corners she was hiding in. When she got close to one, she was able to verify that everyone was gone. She knew though that the side doors would all mostly be locked, so she’d have to go to the front.
One way to the front, Kelsey would be able to quickly get there as she’d only have to walk past about one side of the school. Yet it had few places to hide and faced the parking lot. She could also sneak around the back of the school, but that would require passing by more windows, and it would take longer.
