tails always made inventions to help his friends. he was working on one right now for sonic shadow and knuckles.
he had overheard knuckles them arguing about being puny. they said sonic was too small. they ridiculed shadow because his ball and rod were puny, and knuckles was complaining that he could only benchpress a mere 36954 pounds total.
so tails secretly went to work to make something to help them all grow. he finally did it and put it on.
