You gulped nervously as the grandmaster's words from earlier came back to haunt you. Robin knew! He knew all about the obsessive love his daughters inherited from their mother as he too was a victim of it before and after marrying Tharja. Although he didn't seem bothered by it. In fact, he actually seemed quite happy.
You on the other hand weren't sure if you could return those feelings quite yet if at all. You still had a life in the real world you wanted to get back to and despite knowing Morgan via the video game, your interactions with her have mostly involved human experimentation.
Tharja liked to stalk and cast hexes, Noire stalked and shot arrows at her competition, and Morgan most likely would stalk and did experiment on you. This was a lot to take in and for the sake of your own sanity you needed to take a walk. You looked back up towards the grinning girl and asked her, "Uh, Morgan? Do you mind if we take a walk?"
You knew you couldn't walk alone as the danger was far too high. The raven-haired girl was going to have to walk for the both of you. The creepy grin on her face vanished and was replaced by a more thoughtful one as she pondered your request. You didn't know it, but you were only fanning the flames of her mad love.
"All right. The soups probably too hot for you to eat right now anyways. We can go for a walk in the meantime." Morgan smiled. You much preferred this one to the Tharja-like one she gave you not too long ago. You liked the dark mage sure, but that look should be reserved for her and her alone.
The tactician-in-training held you close, and the two of you left the tent behind. The walk itself wasn't anything all that special, but it was nice to see around camp and get some much-needed fresh air. The whole time you and Morgan talked, and the conversation was actually quite pleasant.
You only felt that chill from before when Morgan stopped walking and spied her other female second-generation comrades from afar. Lucina was talking to Severa about something or another and it got both women laughing. You couldn't hear what they were saying but it looked like Morgan clearly could if the redness of cheeks was anything to go by.
She slid behind a tree to listen in more and eventually turned to walk away after a certain point. Whatever she heard greatly affected her and when you tried to ask her what the others had said she quickly tried to change the subject. That... was not a good sign.
Unbeknownst to you, Morgan was thinking about all the different ways she could get your attention. She liked you but could tell the feeling wasn't exactly mutual in the same way. She needed to do something to make you see she was the only one for you, like her mother and father. Like Noire was trying to do with Inigo.
As the two of you re-entered the tent, Morgan gently put you down on the table so you could eat. "I'll be back in a little bit. Don't you go anywhere now."
With that, Morgan left the tent once more leaving you with only your soup and your thoughts. Never in a million years did you think you would find yourself on the receiving end of Morgan's obsessive love. You needed to talk to someone. Someone who could understand when you had the chance.
