Ash thinks Pikachu is his trainer

Everything seemed normal, Ash was still walking with Pikachu in his arms, and yet that was to change as conversation came up.
"Man, Misty. Pikachu's really been working me hard." Ash said, looking tired. Pikachu looked up, confused. He hadn't been that hard on him, had he?
"But you can't learn moves unless you battle." Misty responded. "Pikachu, I think you've been training Ash great..."
