This choice: She sits next to Celestia, as far away from you as possible. • Go Back...Chapter #3Celeste's Request by: GWriter You feel a little offended when Luna decides not to sit next to you, but you decide to take it with a grain of salt. When she takes her seat next to Celestia, the elder princess looks at her sister with a look of disappointment. You notice the look and wonder what it was about, but you later ignore it. After dinner, you start to head back to Luna's room, but Celestia stops you.
"[Your name]?" she says.
"Hey, Auntie Celeste," you say. "What's up?"
"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to ask a favor of you," she says, then her voice goes down to a whisper. "It's about Luna. Even though people and ponies have started to accept her, she's still having a little trouble opening up to others. She's always been a little shy. Anyway, I digress. I was wondering, since you're sharing a room with her, could you try to help her come out of her shell. You could start by having her get to know you a little better."
"So you're saying that if she can open up to her roommate, she'll be able to open up to others?" you ask.
"Something along those lines," says Celestia. "So, will you do this for your dear Auntie Celeste? I really want to see my sister genuinely happy again."
"No problem," you say. "You can count on me."
"Thank you, sweetheart," she says, kissing you on the cheek. "Good night," she says before walking off.
On your way back to Luna's room, you think of a way to get Luna to come out of her shell, but can't come up with anything. "This is gonna be harder than I thought," you think. When you return to Luna's room, you see that she was already in one of her royal nightgowns. She looks at you when you enter, but then she looks away. You shrug and head into the bathroom to change into some sleeping clothes. When you're changed, you look into the backpack you brought on the trip and found your sketchbook. You take it out, lie down on the bed, and start drawing away. The princess takes notice of this and... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
