Chapter #5

Tom befriends his new friend Josh for his meal

Tom wakes up in a makeshift morgue with pale white skin. He lifts up the sheet and realizes that he is naked. He uses the sheet to wrap around himself and walk out. Tom finds his clothes in the next room, but not his slip-one, so he puts his clothes on, but stays barefoot. He makes his escape out the window and thru the overgrown yard. He sees a car coming up the road and hides in the brush. When the car slows down, he jumps out, startling the young driver.
The young driver is startled at Tom’s appearance, but lets him in the car. Once inside, Tom’s hunger takes over and attacks the driver, pulling him over and biting his neck. The driver’s attempt to fight back are futile. Tom soon drains him of all his blood and lets go of him. Tom wipes his mouth and gazes upon his dead prey. He notices that they are about the same size and decides to swap clothes. As Tom takes off the driver’s jacket and shirt, he notices a strange mark on the driver’s bare chest. It’s a small hexagon with a star in the middle. Tom moves on and pulls off the driver’s shoes and pants, laughing as he sees the driver’s bright boxers shorts. He peels off the driver’s socks exposing his pale bare feet and notices his toes are similar style and shape as his own.
Tom puts on the driver’s clothes, socks and shoes after stripping his own clothes off. He sees the driver’s wallet in the middle compartment and opens it to see his ID. Tom is shocked to see the name that reads JOSH CUNNINGHAM. Josh is a good friend of Tom that was looking for him. In the darkness of the night, Tom didn’t realize that his prey was his friend.
A moment later, Josh wakes up and looks up at Tom. He is in a daze as he looks down at his nearly naked body asking what happened to his clothes. Tom explains to him what had happened to him and what he did to Josh. Josh does notice that Tom is wearing his clothes, shoes and socks.
