It seemed like the other Jeff had been kind enough to not erase our protagonist. If there was any reason for this, it was probably that he had too much self-respect, and wasn't willing to erase his clone just so some random girl could go on existing. Though wanting to be popular himself, Jeff never cared that much for the popular kids in his school, and even if they all mysteriously disappeared, he wouldn't have worried in the slightest.
The thing he did do was make our Jeff unable to ever use RealityShift.net again. When Chloe's laptop was finally booted up, everything seemed to work fine, except that single website.
There was no going around it now, Jeff had to go outside in this body. If he could convince someone else to go to this website for him, maybe things could be reversed. At least, it was the only chance he had left.
