You didn't want to have to worry about the pesky two hour time limit reverting you back to normal, so you quickly pressed the permanent button. As far as you were concerned, this was the new you, indefinitely. There was no dramatic flash of light when the button was pressed, it was just, this reality was not going to change.
You finally made your way over back to where Roger was waiting, noticing the sway in your wider hips as you walked in your heels. It wasn't even a conscious walk, just the way your body was structured now made it happen. You smirked as you saw Roger glance up from his phone, briefly giving your body a glance over. When he finally made eye contact with you, he hurriedly looked away, realizing it was you!
"Oh, Robert! You're back already? You ah... you ready to go?" He said, apparently acting almost nervous around you.
He definitely recognized you, and didn't seem to comment on anything being unusual. But perhaps... you looking like an attractive woman was making your friendship with him uncomfortable. He likely knew you still had a male anatomy between your legs, and was questioning his sexuality by finding you attractive. For some reason, this just amused you to no end. You considered making a wish to put his mind at ease, but you decided against it, leaving him to figure out his own emotions for himself.
"Yup! I'm all set, you study for that test we have later today?" You respond, strangely cheerfully in your new feminine voice, enjoying the tone that it made. You found yourself speaking more chipper than usual, as though testing the limits of your new range.
Roger's face went pale however, "Shit...no I didn't... Look I'm sure I'll be fine. Maybe... do you think Nguyen can give me a quick crash course review at lunch, last minute kind of thing? I know she took the class already, so could you... idk, sweet talk her for me, please?"
In reality, the test was the least of your concern right now, with a magic wishing watch, you could fix all of this easily. But you didn't want to clue Roger in on any of it, so you simply played along. "It'll be fine, if she can't help then I'll do my best to go over things with you, it's really not as hard as you're making it out to be. Now let's go before we're late."  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
