The cool breeze of the evening air swept through the halls as the light began to fade from the sky. You were tired from all the walking and reading you had done the previous day, but knew it would all be worth it to show your devotion to your new family. After all, you only get to make one first impression, might as well make it a good one. You yawn as you close the scroll and attempt to recite the initiate pledge from memory.
A faint smile appeared on your lips as you opened the scroll to find that you had read every single word flawlessly. Now that you knew all of the rules and were ready to take the pledge all you had to do was find the centaur woman from before and prove your devotion to the Selesnya. Unfortunately, she seems to have slipped away on other business while you were diligently studying your vows. Looks like your work isn't done quite yet.
You let out a sigh and get up from the bench. You wanted nothing more than to get a good rest, but it seemed fate had something else in store for you this night. "I can't just leave and risk forgetting something, I need to apply now while the words are still fresh in my mind." you whisper sleepily as you rub your eyes. You take a quick walk around the area to see if the centaur woman or one of her associates were nearby. The only people left on this floor were a thin elf man visiting on behalf of the Simic and his assistant, some sort of frog lizard man thing that didn't speak to you.
You rub your forehead and head for the stairs leading to the above floors. You weren't sure exactly how high nonmembers were allowed to go, so you kept a close eye out for any sort of security personnel. After ascending three floors you came to a large church-like room with a beautiful Selesnya symbol formed in tree branches overlooking a row of pews and a small stage of sorts. There was a single other visitor at this late hour, a young woman in a white and green tunic...
