"I'm Sorry Angela," Aea says as she notices the security officers eyebrows droop, "The other modules didn't have time to cycle before the first power surge and...well, that's that."
Sighing, the unformed woman leaned back against her now closed capsule and crossed her arms as she contemplated. "And...the state of the cargo?"
"Lost, along with the entire aft section of the ship." Aea responded dispassionately, and Angela couldn't help but wince at that. Some ten billion stasis-frozen passengers had been miniaturized and stored in the aft sections of the Manifest Destiny, and even if most of them had been cloned to meet the colonization quotas, it was still a mind-numbing figure to think about.
"Did anything else important make it then?" She asked at length.
The computer was silent for a moment before responding.
