David walked into his office to see what was going on with his body. As soon as he entered the room he saw a harrowing sight. His body was sprawled out on the floor, unconscious. What was worse, there was blood coming from his head. David let out a shrill and piercing scream. Unable to really focus much he collapsed to his knees.
"What is wrong," Dan, another salesman, said as he rushed into the room. "Oh my god!"
Dan rushed over to David's unconscious body while David just watched in shock and horror. The thought that he had somehow died crossed David's mind. He had no thoughts as to how he ended up in Emily's body however.
"Call an ambulance!" Dan barked at David. David just stammered and trembled. Soon David was let off of the hook as more coworkers rushed in and helped. Soon an ambulance was on its way as Dan attended to who he thought was David. David just watched in shock. There wasn't really anything else he could do.
Soon the paramedics arrived and attended to David's body. It happened so fast, and David was in such shock, that he didn't really know what was going on. They swooped in and got David's body onto a gurney and whisked him out the door extremely quickly. A police officer also arrived on the scene. He asked everyone lots of questions. especially David since he was the first to find himself. David was in such shock that he barely was able to get through it. Finally the officer was satisfied that there wasn't anything other than a medical condition going on here and he left.
"It is a lot to deal with," Dan offered his sympathy, "Don't worry about it, you did what you could."
Even David knew that it he was simply trying to make who he perceived to be Emily feel better. However, David couldn't help but feel that he had somehow caused this. He was starting to doubt his earlier thought that he was dead. His main worry was how his body was doing and if he could get back into it somehow. He debated going to the hospital, but he was still in such shock that he couldn't think clearly. What does he do?
