“Now,” the former Mrs. Claus smiled, “Go knock them dead!”
“Like performing a concert?” Miley asked a little confused.
“Eventually,” Mrs. Claus chuckled, “but I was thinking more along the lines of meeting the world first. You’re not exactly the woman you once were, you know!”
“Oh I know,” MIley began twerking, “but I’m not totally brand new either!” The two laughed as they exited the coffee shop, the patrons still under Miley’s spell and oblivious to the magic going on around them.
It took a few days but with Mrs. Claus’s guidance Miley was able to bring all her affairs in order so that her transition from her old self to her new self was just a matter of PR; mostly sound bytes, interviews and a large press junket. But for a star as big as she was this was all old hat to Miley.
Public reaction was mixed at first with many of her younger fans having very negative reactions to Miley’s weight gain and grey hair. It took a little bit, but Miley’s constant speaking on body acceptance and letting people be who they want to be in her press tours slowly brought them back around. She even picked up a few fans that had fetishes for GILF’s.
All in all the adjustment wasn’t to terrible for Miley, with the only real noticeable side effect was that all the music she now wrote or had written for her seemed to have to be Christmas themed. Anything that wasn’t Christmas related seemed to stick in her throat and just crack under any attempts to belt it out. Still she could make music and that was what was important. She was also beginning to leverage who new position as the mother of Christmas to help back charities she believed in, particularly child-centric charities, and began to raise hundreds of millions of dollars all within the first six months of her transformation.
But Miley was still Miley, and haters were still going to hate on her. Her constantly twerking butt was served with a lawsuit from a very jealous Taylor Swift. Taylor felt that the homeboy persona that Miley now presented infringe on her brand and launched a series of frivolous lawsuits as a result. She bolstered her position by making public statements in which she said Miley had asked her permission to act as a homemaker and Taylor had said no, and Miley said she would destroy Taylor’s brand as a result. No one believed the lying Ms. Swift, as who would believe her over Mrs. Claus (even one who had once been Miley Cyrus,) and the lawsuits were soon dismissed. Taylor ended up ruining her own brand, and just for fun Miley cursed her with a severe case of flatulence.
And even after all this nonsense Miley still had yet to meet Santa Claus.
