As you try to process everything you begin to transform as blue scales appear on your body. You roar out in confusion as everything appears to shrink as your form shifts and grows.
Oddly, the transformation doesn't feel painful. It feels like your joints are stiff, but that's about it.
You yelp briefly as you fly up into the air with your wings and bump your head on the ceiling before landing. You're still in a state of shock as you look at your reflection that is shown in a nearby crystal.
"This can't be real," you said as you grab your tail.
You then let go of your tail and bring your attention to your unhatched offspring. Suddenly, the 5 eggs begin shaking. You lower your head to the ground.
One by one the hatchlings emerge. Your shock turns to joy as your paternal draconic instincts kick in. The hatchlings are a silver female, red male with a black underbelly, a light blue female, a midnight blue male, and a gray male.
If you count Nirrus who is in the house you have 2 daughters and 4 sons.
"Oh my gosh! You all hatched! What should I name you?"
You name the silver hatchling Sterlinia, the red hatchling Magnexus, the light blue hatchling Arcadiana, the midnight blue hatchling Nocturnos, and the gray hatchling Kratagor.
The hatchlings begin calling you dada as you draw them near. You gently gather your newly hatched babies and spot a blanket on the floor.
You gather the baby dragons and make a makeshift shack and fly back towards the house. Once home you change back to your human form and let your children out of the sack.
Your new hatchlings look at you with a puzzled expression until they recognize your scent.
"Come along kids. Your older brother is waiting inside."
The baby dragons rush inside as you hold the door open. You sigh trying to figure out how you'll feed the new residents of your home, who you are, and where your wife Sylvianna is.
The house is then full of baby dragons crying for food. You check your food stores and see that you don't have anything for babies, let along baby dragons.
You could hunt or go shopping. But you don't have anyone to watch the baby dragons.
