You insert your finger and find that the slit has a split within. One is a hole the other, as you slip your finger in, is more of a slot that has nothing in it. After finding this, you notice that the small dragon is uncomfortable with you touching such a delicate place.
As you try to retract your finger the dragon does something unexpected, the young dragon begins purring and the muscles inside the slit begin to clench slowly. At the start you don't know what to think, then you remember that it's natural for a body to react in the way she did and think nothing of it.
You delicately lower the small dragon to the ground, she seems to remain transfixed onto something for a few seconds before turning to you with curious eyes.
"Are you al-,sigh what a stupid question...ehm, hello young one, no that's quite-"
"Dada?"
She seems confused by your strange method of interaction, you decide to ignore the awkward beginning and focus on do something that actually make sense, you are still unsure why an egg has been abandoned like that
"You point a finger on your chest "Zayden"
Then you point a finger on her snout "Halaria"
She try to imitate your gesture by clumsily point a claw to her chest "Ha..hale...Ha.la.ria"
You smile at her attempt, she is so cute, you point a finger at yourself and repeat "Zayden"
"Zder"
She remain mostly still, looking at you. What? No second attempt? You try again but she just squeal and run towards the cave exit
"What?! Running already?! Stop! Come back here"
And so it begin your tale, of..well, we'll see about what don't we?
