Shrinking technology has recently been made available for recreational use to the public, but for a price. A really steep price. Way out of yours and Ebony's price range.

You two fantasize about all the things you could do if Ebony were only six inches tall, but you always knew it would be just talk. At least for the foreseeable future.

Then Ebony's eccentric great aunt bought a shrinking device for Ebony for her birthday. Of course, the shrinking device isn't just something they can hand over the counter. In order for the device to work, Ebony had to go in for several medical appointments to gather all the necessary biodata to make it work. But the end result was worth it. Ebony showed up with a device that would shrink her (but only her) to six inches in height.

With a nervous smie, Ebony places the shrinking device (a large silverish disc) on the ground, then activates it by stepping on it. There is a near blinding flash of light, and Ebony is reduced to six inches in height.
