"It's a boy!" Gilbert exclaimed. "We have a little dragon-boy."
"How are we going to get him out of here without the muggles finding out?" Hecatia asked.
"Oh, I'll probably change the memory of the two nurses and maybe we could cover up the child or... transfigure it!"
"What?!"
"We could transfigure him into a human!"
Hecatia sighed, "But, magic has it's traces, and you know that. What if he one day finds out, and thinks he's an abomination? It's better if we raise him like this in secret, right?"
"Yeah, but it's the best we can do until we get out of this hospital and go home," Gilbert said as he chanted the words to transfigure the child. But at the end, he gasped and collapsed. He started breathing heavily.
"Honey?! What happened?!"
"Our child. Cannot be. Transfigured. It's painful. I think the curse. makes sure he stays. like this permanently," Gilber managed to wheeze out. "Better just cover him. up, then."
