You notice the dog going into labor

You turn to leave, but stop when you hear the dog making strange noises. You turn around and see she is now laying on her side, and her belly is contracting heavily as she pants. That is when you realize that she must be going into labor. You decide to stay and help her deliver her puppies because of two reasons: one, if you help these people's dog have her puppies, then maybe when they return they will want to help you since you helped them. The second is that a mastiff is a big dog that will probably have big puppies, so she might have trouble. You sit down next to her as she starts pushing, and as she does, you rub her belly. You could feel the strong contractions inside her belly, which amazed you. Because of her already muscular body, her birthing muscles were especially strong. Suddenly...
