The next day was the weekend. So neither Dan or Mikey had to worry about being late to school. Dan (Xan) was considering what to do next for Mikey. Xan woke Mikey up and said 'Hey, let us get some breakfast. We can play afterwards.' Mikey rubbed his eyes and said ' Well, let me make up my bed first. Mom likes a clean room.' Xan smiled at the considerate actions of Mikey as he made up his bed. Xan then said to him.. Let me take care of the rest of the room.
Xan wave his hand over the room and suddenly the room was free of trash,furniture polished, and windows washed. Mike gasped in amazement and started to be scared. But Xan simply made Mikey forget how he did it. Xan just made Mikey think that they both cleaned it together.--Then they got dressed for a day to play outside after breakfast.
Then a voice from downstairs called them both for breakfast...eggs, bacon, apple slices, and chocolate milk. The two boys ran down the stairs for a delicious breakfast. Mikey's mom was smiling and complicated on how nice the boys looked. After breakfast, both Xan and Mikey offered to clean the table and plates. Mikey's mom Julie said ' Just take your dishes, silverwares, and cups to the sink. I will take care of the rest. Just go outside and play. Oh, by the way, Caleb had to leave early. He has football practice in the football field.'
Both Xan and Mikey rushed outside and closed the front door behind them. Suddenly Xan decided that Mikey was ready for some more growing. But first he wanted Mikey to stand still. Luckily, Mikey was watching a neighbor's house where his friend Donna lives.[She lived two houses down the street.]
Quickly, Xan made Mikey grow another inch while accommodating his clothes on him as well as those in his closet. But Mikey was unaware that he grew another inch- at least, for now.
Xan asked Mikey who lived next door. Mikey responded dreamily 'Oh, that is my friend Donna's place. She goes to school with me. She is nice to me. But we are not dating. She took judo for a year but quit due to budget reasons and that it was too hard for her..' Then Mikey asked Xan ' Say, what should we do now for some fun?'
