This choice: Time-traveling shota minato. • Go Back...Chapter #5Minato of the past, flung into the future! by: Unknown Minato didn't understand what was happening. First, there was a scary monster that killed his parents. Then there was that strange girl that fought the monster. Then there was a flash of light and the monster was gone. Then, everything started to go black and he felt like he was falling very far. He woke up in a room that was very blue.
He looked around, slightly scared. However, he saw two other people in the room. One was a short man with a really long nose. The other was a tall woman with blonde hair and yellow eyes.
The woman was walking up to him, making him back up in fear. The woman stopped, looking at him with curiosity. She turned her gaze to the sitting man who was staring at Minato. "Interesting. We have not had one so young in the velvet room. Elizebeth, would you mind leaving the poor boy alone as I am sure he does not quite understand what is happening." He said, makng the woman bow to him before she moved away from him.
Minato didn't know what to do. He was in a strange place, with strange people and his parents were dead. What was he to do?
His eyes started to mist as tears formed in his eyes. Slowly, he came to terms with it all.
He was alone in the world.
What else could a kid do but cry?
There was no shame in it. It was a natural reaction to sadness.
So, he began to cry, realizing that his mom and dad were gone, as the events of just a few minutes caught up with him.
The woman looked at him, a sad but confused expression on her face. The man however, raised his arm as if to grab something, making an old rotery telephone appear. He picked up the phone as invisible hands dialed some numbers.
He spoke quietly into the phone, but with an urgency and respect in his voice. Sighing, he nodded and put the phone down. "Elizibeth, I want you to make yourself as presentable as possible. Our master is coming to deal with this personally." He said, making Elizibeth give a start. Their master never interfeared unless it was something urgent.
Meanwhile, Minato continued to cry. It was to much for him to handle. He didn't know how to deal with it!
However, a figure appeared silently behind him. It was a tall, male figure. Most of his body was draped in shadows, but one thing was very distinct about him.
The blue butterfly mask on his face.
The new figure looked down at the crying boy, a sad smile on his face. He knelt down next to him and started to rub the boys back, trying his best to comfort the small child.
Slowly the crying subsided, small hiccups escaping from the boy every now and again. The figure smiled again at the boy before he stood up. "Better now?" The figure asked.
Minato looked up at the figure, not even noticing he was there. Minato noted a regal aura about the man, even if he didn't quite understand it. "W-wh-who a-a-ar-are y-y-y-yo-you?" The boy asked as he sniffed back sadness.
The figure looked down at him again, seeming to understand the boys plight. "I, my boy, am Philemon. And I am the god of nutrality." he said, before he offered his hand to the boy.
Minato didn't know why, but he felt like he could trust this man. So, he took the offered hand and was led to the two other occupents of the room. He sat in a chair that he didn't otice before as Philemon sat in another, looking at Igor.
"My lord, how my I serve you today?" Igor asked as a smile broke onto his face.
Philemon looked at him for a moment, before gesturing to the small child that had appeared in their room so suddenly. "I need you to help him, Igor. I allow him to sign the contract." He said, making Igor's eyebrows raise in surprise, even if he didn't show it on his face.
"May I inquire as to why? I mean no disrespect of course. I am merely curious as why one so young would be able to sigh the contract." He asked.
Philemon looked at the boy again sadly, knowing what was sealed inside him. "He must sign the contract, otherwise, humanity will not stand a chance at all."
Igor nodded at the diety's words. He waved his waves his arm again, making a single sheet of paper appear.
Philemon picked up the paper, making a pen appear, before he moved over to the boy who watched them with curiousity. Philemon knelt infront of him, looking him in the eye. "If you would like our assistence in the future, please sign this. It is your choice, however."
Minato looked at him, before he looked at the paper he was asked to sign. 'I promise to take responsibility for my actions.' It read. Minato couldn't see anything wrong with that, so he picked up the pen and signed.
Philemon smiled as minato signed the contract. He would awaken to his power, even if it was long before he was supposed to. But, he could not turn back the hands of time as far as they flung the boy. So, he would have to make due. This boy was special. What else could be said for a wild card and the keeper of death?
Once Minato had signed his name, the contract disappered from his hands, only to reappear on Igor's desk/ table. "Splendid. I never would have guessed that one young as you would be able to get our master's attention. Now, we are bound by contract, both you and us. If you ever need assistence, please, do not hesitate to visit." He said with a smile.
Philemon stod up, smiling at Minato. "Now, there is something you should know. You are not in the same time as you were when everything happened." He said, gaining a confused look from Minato. "What I mean, is that you are in the future." He said, making the boy go wide eyed. "Yes, I mean that. Now, when you awake, I want you to follow the map I will give you. Normally, I don't interfere this much, but you are a special case. I want you to go to the place on the map and ask to speak to someone. If they ask why you are there, just say one word." He said, making the boy look at him, wondering what the man had to say. "Persona."
Wioth that, Minato nodded before he felt sleepy. His eyes began to drift shut as he looked at the people who were nice to him. Even the lady was smiling at him, wishing him well on his journy. "We hope to see you again, Minato." She said, a small wave of a strange emotion rushing over him as his eyes shut.
Minato awoke on a alley way. He noticed that it was dark, almost midnight. He also noticed that he had a map. It had a small dot that showed him his location as to where he started, and a spot that said go here.
So, pushing himself up with map in hand, Minato made his way, following the map as the clock ticked ever closer to midnight. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
