"I know your pain, darling. But just try to think the memories we have been together. Does digesting me really deserved it?"
To your surprise, she turn back and hug you in her arms. Tears fell down from both of your eyes like a waterfall.
"I'm sorry John," Charley mumbles as she turns to look at you. "I don't know what came over me. It's just... well you said it pretty well. It's a whole new thing that us women can do, and you probably don't want to hear it, but you guys, you know, men. You taste really good. But still that's no excuse for trying to eat you, we already promise each other that one day we will be closer together. You've always been there for me, so I'll do my best to always be there for you. The problem is, the future right in front of us now is uncertain. Even though you survive one day you can't be sure for the next day, right?"
The both of you hugged each other tightly for a long time. Finally, Charley released you.
"This is the only way, John." she said. "I must unbirth you. I still believe that in the future there will still be a place where they have strict anti-cannibalism laws enforced. I know this might not be pleasing to hear for you. But it's the only way I can protect you. I have to be your mother if we still want to stay together."
