Cassandra, ever the pragmatist, decided that order needed to return first. She invested the inquisitions help into agriculture and trade. the amount of food, money and other merchandise quickly rose and stability was brought back to her country. She even seemed to gain the favor of the nobility, who were happy they could fill their bellies and line their coffers again.
But our new Queen was far to aware of the cost this new prosperity brought her. Many lives were lost. as she rode through her country, she saw inocent people get sick and die and a rapid pace. Word of her unpopulairity quickly reached Cassandra. She was used to many kinds of stress, but not this. She would normally deal with her stress by training, but she barely had time for it. so, she did the only thing she could inbetween meetings. eat. with more food and money availlable, her wealth grew the quickest. nearly every chamber of her castle had food availlable, so she indulged more and more.
it didn't take long before she had to ditch her armor, it didn't take long before all her muscles were covered in a layer of fat and it didn't take long before her fat, jiggling gut stuck out like a sore thumb.
now, a new choice arised. stability was brought back to her country, but now she had to decide what to focus on. she could keep building her newly stable economy or start giving aid to her people.
if she keeps building her economy, more food and money will become availlble. she will also gain favor with the nobility, but more of her peopel will die (Estimated death toll: five thousand. Popularity: 7/200 Rate of weight gain: rapid. Nevarra’s stability: 50%)
