The experiments

         “What?!?”, you say in total disbelief. You stare at the mirror, where your twin sister Lucy stares back at you, then back to YOU – your body that just entered the doorway into the bathroom – talking to you.

         “What are we going to do, Kuddles/(insert author's name)?”, sister-you asks plaintively.

         You’re back to gazing at your new body in the mirror, astonished that your mind has been transplanted into your sister’s body, and hers into your body!

         “I d-don’t know, Lucy”, you stammer, “Wait! I know one thing right off the bat – we need to start referring to each other as we are now. No one’s going to believe that our brains have been traded by the madman next door. It’s just too crazy. So, from now on, you HAVE to call me ‘Lucy’, and I need to call you ‘Kuddles’. It’s how we look to everyone else in the world now.” At this, you watch yourself instantly burst into tears at your shared plight, and you realize that your old male body is going to be taking an ass-whooping or two if your sister’s brain is going to act like that out in the world.

         And for a third time, you again stare transfixed at your new self in the big bathroom mirror. A beautiful, wide-eyed schoolgirl with long dark hair, dressed in her pajamas. As if in disbelief still, you begin a quick body-check, your own hands feeling along your arms, chest, waist and hips, and down to your perky bootie and the final stop at your groin area, which leads you to scream now, too, “Aiieee! Good God! He’s got to change us back! I can’t live like this, in this body!” you shriek.

         “Well? How do you think I feel?!?”, you yells back at you.

         It was all too much to contemplate, and the two of you left the bathroom, and went down the hall to Lucy’s/your new bedroom. It was quite the girly-girl sort of room, and you felt strange as your former body explains that you’ve been asleep since late yesterday, that he awoke a couple of hours ago, that there is no sign of the rest of your family, and that –
