Simply put, she had no idea what she was going to do that afternoon. She was supposed to be studying for the upcoming math test, but she just couldn't focus on the paper. Her thoughts quickly turned to Darien and what he was possibly doing at that moment in time. What could she possibly do to impress him?
That's when the phone rang. Serena heard her mother pick it up, and the next thing she knew, she had called up to her saying it was one of her friends.
"Who could be calling me?" Serena asked herself, heading to the upstairs phone, "Amy is working on the same test I am, Raye is working at the temple, Mina...I'm not sure what she's up to, could be her, and didn't Lita have a game today, I'm sure she did".
When she answered the phone, it was in fact Raye who made the call, "Serena! You'll never believe this! I just scored two tickets for me and Lita to go see the newest boy band group that just came out!"
"What?! But I was hoping to go too!" Serena said.
"Well, you might be able to make it. The tickets haven't sold out quite yet, but you'd better hurry, Meatball head!" And with that, Raye hung up.
Steaming, Serena slammed the receiver on the hook. She didn't have the funding to get into that kind of a big show, and for that matter, she didn't think her mom would financially back her up this time, considering what happened on the last math test. And how could she forget about how she was going to impress Darien?! This was worse than taking that stupid test.
Then, it hit her. She had it in her pocket the whole time! She'd use the disguise pen; she could practically do anything with that. The question was...what would she do?
