"Mom. Mom,' cried out Julia as she ran up to the person who she thought was her mother. 'Look at what I did in school today. Isn't it pretty?"
With a vacant stare Jack just looked at Julia agape. "What!? This can't be! My little sister actually thinks I'm her mother. Can't she see that my own male head is sitting on top of our mother's body!"
"Mommy, are you ok?" asked a nearly disappointed Julia.
Snapping out of his trance like state, Jack said, "Um, ok. I'm fine sweetie. What do you have to show me?"
Julia perked up and smiled. "Here mommy." Handing up a drawing she did in school.
Taking it from her, Jack looked over it and said, "It's nice Julia. How about showing it to your brother over there. I'm sure he will love to see it to."
Giving the drawing back to her, Julia skipped over to who she thought was Jack and said, "Look Jack. I'm an artist."
In that moment, the 'real' Jack decided to walk out of the room before anyone could stop him.
