Into the kitchen

You didn't have much faith in a child as young as Kaylee to help you out much. However, you should be able to get your sister Rachel's attention easily, and she would most likely help you, even though she can be a jerk sometimes.

Swiftly, you cross from the hardwood floor at the base of the stairs onto the tile of the kitchen, and near your sister's huge feet at the base of her chair at the table. She's occupied with eating breakfast now, so it would probably be hard to get her attention at her feet, but you could try.
