The steam poured out of the scanners as Aelita and Yumi laid crouched in the scanners, a slight tinge of pain rain through the bodies as was normal with being devirtualized but also a slight headache, that was new.
"Ow" Aelita said bringing her hand to her temple as Yumi groaned
"you got a bad headache too?"
"Yeah" she said with a nod as the elevator docked and the loud noises of it opening made both of them cringe as the boys stepped
"you guys alright?" Ulrich asked as he went over to yumi and Jeremy to Aelita
"Just a bad headache, nothing broken" Yumi said trying to open her eyes but scrunching them shut when she did "the lights are too bright"
"Thanks for the warning" Aelita said not opening her eyes either
"You two need sleep, that'll probably help whatever's going on in your heads" Jeremy said as he took Aelita's hand, happy she couldn't see him blush "Here ill be your eyes" he said making her chuckle
"What a gentlemen" she said as Jeremy lead her to the elevator. Ulrich reached for Yumi's hand
"Need a seeing eye dog to get you home?" he asked as she grinned
"Dont make me laugh it hurts my head. But sure just dont expect a treat for being a good boy" she said as Ulrich grinned. Grabing her hand he led her to the elevator and they went up. Both girls cringing from the noise, Yumi actually latching onto Ulrich's arm as the noise went on. When they got to the factory the two 'couples' parted ways. Aelita and Jeremy heading through the sewers, then sneaking back into the dorms where Jeremy got her to her room where she could find out things from there. Ulrich got Yumi back to her house easy pesy even getting a hug for doing so before they parted ways.
As the girls got ready for bed their headaches hadn't ceased, they had probably only gotten a solid minute of sight. Even the slighest bit of color was hurting their heads. As they lay in their beds, rustling with their heads till they eventually fell to the sanctuary of sleep, they're bodys began to change. cells rapidly dividing reshaping them till morning came where...
