You decide to get to the bottom of this. "Lily can't possibly be afraid of humans could she? She's 10,000 miles tall, why would she be afraid of humans? Of course it would explain why she never talks to anyone." At this moment, Lily had stopped running and she's walking normal. You decide to follow close by. As Lily was walking away, she was looking around and then let out a sigh. She seemed to be in a hurry to get home and even put her hood on over her head, but you keep following her and she doesn't even see you.
Lily takes her time getting home. She must live on a far part of town. Along the way, you see her acting strange a few times. She ran right past a woman with a baby carriage and looked the other way when a pair of humans were carrying a mirror right past her. If another anthro like Betty or Lalonde came in, they would've helped without being asked but the way Lily was acting, it was like she wanted to be ignored. Maybe anthros with human phobia really did exist.
As you keep tailing Lily, you see her walk into the video store and grab the heel of one of her boots to get a closer look. Then you remember why you didn't like going to the video store. One of the clerks, Ryan, a giant husky anthro had a grudge against you for always having the videos in late. He was such a Nazi when it came to that and you remember the last time he warned you that one more late video and he'd revoke your membership. That guy has serious OCD.
As you continue to watch Lily, she has picked up a few movies she wanted to rent and walks up to Ryan. "Hi Lily," says Ryan in a surprisingly friendly tone. You'd think that Ryan wouldn't get along with Lily since he was a dog and she was a cat. "Haven't seen you in the store for a while. Lily didn't answer and instead handed Ryan the movies she planned to buy. "Night of the Killer Canary, The Venomous Duck, The Mouse Returns. Yep sounds like Lily's normal horror movie night. I'll bet nothing scares you except for...." Suddenly Ryan stops and sniffs the air. "That's odd," he says as he turns his head. "I just picked up a familiar scent, the type I don't like." Ryan grits his teeth and begins to growl as Lily looks in confusion. Uh-oh, has that husky noticed you yet?
