"Eh, might as well head around town."You mumble to yourself as you step outside. It beat being cooped up inside all day in your musty-smelling place anyway. You got in your car, drove off, and in about thirty minutes time, you were in the localized central of the small town of Coalton Shores. You parked on the side of the road, filled the meter with an hour's amount of change, and just began roaming. You passed by many familiar faces, some human, others of varying species, but you waved anyway and greeted with a hello. At least that was an upside to living in a small community, you knew everybody.
Your thoughts were interrupted as you slammed into a massive black wall, nearly breaking your nose when your face met it. You backed away and looked up, the giant wall extending beyond the clouds. If you craned your neck back hard enough and squinted, you could make out that this massive wall was simply a trudge to to black leather boots. Extending higher and higher, a massive cat girl, black furred and clad in an equally black hoodie and shorts, looked down at you quizzically with her wide, bright green eyes.
Scratch your previous statement. You almost knew everybody. This gargantuan anthro before you was Lily, and you had never spoken to her before. To be honest, you thought nobody had ever talked to her before. She was always quiet, reserved, and in the corner. She wandered around town aimlessly everyday, and you had no idea if she even lived here.
"Um...hey...Lily."You called up to her. Surprisingly, she opened her mouth to speak.
