Let's play with the formula a bit.

So here's the deal:

Right now that Dictaphone could have gone to anyone, and none of us really know who.

What if we keep it that way for now? Rather than focusing on somebody who receives the Dictaphone, we'll focus on somebody who doesn't know the Dictaphone even exists. Somebody who's mostly normal, but watching the world get changed by an unknown person, namely, the one who did receive the Dictaphone. Here's two options along those lines.

1. Freya Thompson, a 25-year-old yuppie whose friends and colleagues have all been turning into bimbos and is trying to find out how to stop it from happening to her.

2. Irene Angleton, a private eye on the hunt for a mysterious assailant who's been transforming people all around town.

You have the following choices:
