Loudly, the school's bell was announcing the beginning of the day's classes.
In the corridor, Angie and Arthur, another small geek of the school and slighlty younger than Angie and Lucy, being 5'3 at 15 years old, were discussing games before ultimately going to their respective classes.
Angie was worried... Lucy was still not in sight... The goth girl must have woke up late again...
"Heeey!", shouted Lucy from away in the same hall, waving at Angie and Arthur as she was running breathlessly.
"Lucy!", the 5'0 skinny brunette girl said like quite annoyed, "How many time will you be late these days!" Angie was rarely showing irritation publically, particularly to her bestfriend, but she hated the idea of being seen coming late in class. Angie was serious with study, as the good little student and nerd she was.
"Sorry Angie...", said the goth, catching her breath, "Hi Arthur!", she quickly said as she only noticed then the boy standing next to her bestfriend.
"Is it still cool to come to your place to play Fallout?", asked Arthur not really waiting for the exhausted girl to regain breath.
"Y-yeah...", said Lucy. She didn't really cared about Arthur. All she wanted was to play with Angie after school. But Angie dragged this guy to this, saying he was cool and he had this old game she already told her about once and that it would be a great opportunity to play it!
"And you... you have the game?", Lucy asked back to Arthur.
"YEP! Fallout 2, the good oldschool RPG!", Arthur said, proudly showing the game's box to the 2 girls.
"Isn't it exciting?!", Angie said turning to Lucy, "I always wanted to play that game!"
Lucy couldn't not love seeing her little 5'0 nerdy secret crush getting so thrilled for a game that Lucy wasn't necessarly as enthusiast about. The game looked REALLY oldschool...
Lucy noticed also the other boy smiling to Angie's cheers.
Arthur sure was proud to make some girl happy. It's not like the short geek ever had much opportunity in his life to make a girl happy... He liked Angie. Maybe more than other girls he knew. Probably because she, and Lucy (to a lesser extent), were more like him than other average girls, being short and skinny nerds...
Of course, Arthur, like much boys, was fantasizing about big busty sexy girls like Vanessa Barnes (minus the huge bitch aspect), but well... the 5'3" boy was clearly not playing on the same league to ever hope to get such fantasy girl. He knew no girls like short scrawny boy, particularly bigger and bustier girls. Meanwhile, a looser nerdy girl, a bully's victim like Angie, maybe he could get such kind of girl if he wanted?... Who knows... Sure she was flat, small and skinny, but she was pretty cute, with her big blue eyes behind her big glasses and locks of brown-hair. If she had huge massive boulders on her little chest of hers ... But he could still dream...
"By the way, what was this call yesterday! You made me worried!", asked the 5'0 brunette.
"I really don't know, Angie... I think I woke up from a really strange dream, but like a realistic one, and I might have thought I was still dreaming when I called you...or something..."
"Uh... yeah, I guess so...", shrugged Angie.
Arthur listening but not understanding a thing of these 2 girls' bond.
"So! Lets see us after school at my home?" Lucy asked for confirmation.
"Sure!", said Arthur
"Of course!", said Angie as she was already turning back and hasting herself to class. She really didn't like being late...

Choice #1: Lucy, Angie and Arthur reunite at the McMillan's home to play Fallout in Lucy's bedroom.
Choice #2: Something happens and unfortunately, Arthur won't be able to play with them after school. It will only be Lucy and Angie
Choice #3: Something happens and unfortunately, Angie won't be able to play with them after school. It will only be Lucy and Arthur, to Lucy's great disappointment.
Choice #4: Meanwhile, the dictaphone records things as Laura, Lucy's twin sister, or her mom/dad enters Lucy's bedroom and say things.
Choice #5: More options  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
