Paper Route

You let out a sigh and turn your head. Your bed is just a cigarette box on the table next to Cadence's and you look to see that Cadence is fast asleep. It's impossible to wake Cadence up when she's sleeping. Can't wake the dead. You climb down from the table using the stairway your roommate built for you and decide to surprise her by getting the newspaper. Of course to do that, you have to go to the mailroom downstairs. Lazy Nefernina can't be bothered to bring the paper to your door.
Well, you get dressed and go out. You decide to take the stairs. Of course, you completely forgot that at your size one stair was the size of a mountain. If you tried to jump down you'd probably get killed. As you're pondering this situation, you heard footsteps. You turn your head to see Lupa yawning and walking downstairs. You immediately run to the side hoping she doesn't see you. If she did you're gonna be breakfast. Lupa sniffs the air and you get nervous, you assume that she's picked up your scent.
Fortunately Lupa lets out a yawn and continues walking downstairs. Luckily for you she's half asleep. But then you see her wagging tail. As Lupa walks down, you jump out and grab hold of her tail. Fortunately for you, she's going to the mailroom herself. As soon as Lupa gets her paper, you climb down her leg and onto the ground. You figure you better hide before she wakes up. You let out a laugh at how that stupid wolf completely missed her most elusive of prey.
But as Lupa walks away, you realize something, your mailbox was at the top. You didn't think this plan through. There was no way you could climb up. But maybe you'll get some assistance getting the paper. Who walks in next.
