hiccup was the name his father gave him but he name himself kaldr which was the norse word for cold as he was said to have a cold heart, he liked to sleep during the day and work in the night but now he had made a pelethora of unsold devices so he loaded up a cart with guns and such but not even half full beause he knew that he would get much more meat that he would need to carry back, it was a friday which meant that the vikings were trading before the weakend so he walked the well troden path over the bridge between the volcano and the island and got to the viking village, anyone could have stolen his goods of of that cart but obody dared as a regular pyrovillian was tall, thin, black, made a resinate ticking noise and was genraly scary enough as it was but hiccup looked like he was magic because of the way he could move metal without touching it so most people were scared of him.

but that didnt stop the trading, he managed to sell everything he had brought but of course the best tech was kept at the base so the stuff he was selling was fairly trivial.

they did not discover electrizity yet though the pyrovilians did make vandagraph generators but most energy in the village was traded in the form of spring cells, basicly tightly wound springs with a bolt on the end and a cover so as not to get your fingers trapt. the smallest variety was about the size of a can of coke, it wa used to run cheap clockwork assult rifles which fired small pebbles as bullets, they were very cheap but could easily kill dear and occasionaly dragons and almost evryone had one even the infants but they were simple and weak compared to his weapons, the largest spring cells were the ize of water tanks, the village had sevral for its new heavy defences such as the steam cannon, the steam cannons were of his design but it took all the pyrovilians to get the damn things working, the idea was that they had a wood burning fire at the base of the turret that boiled vast quantities of waster and the steam was pumped into a chamber behind a massive iron bullet and when the pressure was high enough it would launch the bullet at ten thousatnd miles an hour, these things would tear through a sea dragonous giganticus maximus but the village used gunpowder cannons on smaller targets. the spring cells could be sold, used, bought back for a fraction of the price and refilled.

he had also made a new arm for gobber (free of charge because gobber was a friend) as well as a clockwork blender, five chainswords and replacment parts for the weather predicting machine, he had filled his cart with the meat, bread, mead and even cake as payment but then he saw a sign on the village news board "5 gold pices for anyone who can beat snotlout in the arena"

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. go to the arena to fight

*Noteb*
2. go to the arena to watch

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
