Jake felt incredible. He was risen from the dead by Michael, who had suddenly gained these wonderful, godly powers. Michael went to the graveyard and caused his deceased friend to awaken. Now, Jake had to find a permanent body to possess.
The first place where Jake went was his old house. He realized that his parents had moved out since the horrible car accident, which had claimed his life. Other people were now living there. He found an older couple there and an adopted son, named Caden. The boy seemed a little older, about ten years old, but he was tall and a little more muscular than Jake.
He spotted Caden outside, mowing the lawn with the lawnmower. Once he was done with that, he took out the trash and he fed the dog. Once done with all that, the boy retreated to his small bedroom, where he sat on his chair by the desk. He took a 15-pound dumbbell in his hand, and he performed a few arm-curls. Caden was very much into lifting weights, and it showed.
Jake was watching him, as an invisible ghost, when time suddenly stopped the moment when Michael popped up in the bedroom.
“Ahh, there’s Jake. So, did you find someone to possess?” Michael asked him.
“Yeah, this is my old house. I used to live here. This was my bedroom. I like this guy. His name is Caden, and he’s adopted. I was able to read his mind and I found out about him.” Jake explained.
“Good! Well, he’s the only one home right now, so we’ll need to explain to him what you’re about to do. Obviously, Caden is adopted and lonely. He doesn’t have many friends and he’s always stuck in the house doing chores. He’s into bodybuilding, so you will like that!” Michael smiled. “He’ll need help making friends and overcoming his shyness.”
“Yeah!” Jake agreed.
Michael snapped his fingers, restarting time for Caden and making himself and Jake visible.
“Hey! What… Who are you guys?” Caden asked, suddenly feeling startled since he never had other kids visit him in his room. “How did you guys get in my room?”
“Caden, I’m Michael. I have godly abilities and I come to you with Jake, who is a ghost in need of a human body. I have observed you and I see that you’re lonely and you need help making friends and becoming more outgoing. I have the solution to all your problems.” Michael explained. “I will let Jake possess your body. You will always have an inner voice who will talk to you and who can take over your mind and body whenever he sees the need for it. You will continue to lift weights and you’ll become more active in sports and extracurricular activities at school, with Jake living inside of you!”
“Oh, wow! So… someone else will always be inside of me? That’s freaky!” Caden grinned.
“Trust me, you will like it!” Michael assured the boy. “He will make you more confident, outgoing and sociable.”
Caden stood up from the chair.
“Uh, sure. I got nothing to lose!” Caden just shrugged.
Then, Michael snapped his fingers. Jake’s ghostly body was suddenly pulled towards Caden like he was dealing with some magnetic force. When Jake’s arm touched Caden’s arm, Jake’s body slowly and gradually became absorbed into Caden’s body. Very slowly, Jake vanished as his entire body entered and got absorbed by Caden’s larger frame.
Caden let out a soft groan as his body shivered. Then, when he opened his eyes, he let out a loud groan.
“Ouuwngg!” Caden said in his own voice.
“Ohh! I’m in! I’m inside of him!” Caden now spoke in Jake’s voice. “I did it!”
Where there were two boys, there was now just one. Jake had completely disappeared, and his spirit was now living deep inside of Caden’s body.
Caden raised up his arm and flexed, allowing a muscle to swell.
“Whoo! Check out the big guns!” Jake cheered, using Caden’s mouth. “This guy is strong!”
“This is incredible!” Caden finally uttered. “But this is so much fun! I will always have a friend living inside of me from now on!”
“Alright, dude! Let’s hit the gym! Time to grow these muscles!” Jake said out loud.
“You got all the motivation you need to get big and strong, now!” Michael smiled as he walked up to the taller boy. “I’m gonna leave you guys alone. I got other people to help. But I’ll be watching you! Just call my name if you need me!”
With that said, Michael snapped his fingers and disappeared, leaving Caden with jake now living inside of him.
