The sun shines and permeates through the clouds. And with it, a drafty wind chases Mike's gaze at the nearby park. It isn't quite grand as it used to be. Still, people find themselves wandering that place. Though today, there's not much people around.
As usual, there are children in the park playground. They are a raucous bunch, with the shouts and sand throwing. Mark thought and thought once again. It is wise to think twice when he wants to choose those midgets.
On the playground edges, a skate park was recently built. The concrete depressions is filled with teenagers, skateboards and the faint smell of mountain dew. There were screams and joy. And the amazement when one of them does a flip. The children's scream on the other hand, are in heavy competition with theirs.
And beyond the playground and skatepark, a chill place filled with oaks and birches lies. Underneath the shade, benches dotted the place. It is either home to the children's mothers or tired skaters. Other than that, student's from the local summer school rests on the ground. Oddly, their numbers are at large today. One closer look and Mike saw the reason why. A stage is being built in the largest clearing. From the banners it says, "Summer Love Fest" and it's starting today and will last until three days later.
